Eng Leong is a dear old friend of mine and I was delighted when he asked me to shoot for him and Guat Siew at the G hotel.
We spend a little time taking some shots around G hotel just before the tea ceremony and wedding dinner. Here are my favourites.

Coming up next, Eng Leong and Guat Siew’s wedding dinner photos. Unfortunately, I was away in KL and missed the opportunity to shoot the Church ceremony the previous week.

Previously I had these up for sale on ebay.com.my however, I felt it’s just too much hassle putting it there and going thru the whole “ebay” way of getting things sold. I’ve decided to put it here on my site instead.
I imported a dozen pairs of these cute little Precious Moments dolls for sale. These are original dolls from Precious Moments Inc, and they are no longer in production.
The dolls are 7″ tall and they will certainly look good on your signing table or stick ‘em on your wedding cake if u like! If you’re not the one getting married, these would make the perfect wedding gift !
I have 6 more pairs left. So … siapa cepat dia dapat!
The price is RM89.00 for a pair cod in Penang. Add RM10.00 for courier within Malaysia if you’re not from Penang.
Interested , please contact me by email or hit the ”talk2me live” button on the right sidebar to make payment and delivery arrangements. I accept cold hard cash, bank transfers and paypal.

…they sure look good on photos, guaranteed to be a photographer magnet.

I was in KL with my family the last weekend, and managed to spare a little time to take some snapshots of KL Wesley at night. I also had a chance to try my hand on a retro lens, Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 pushpull.
Wesley KL at night

Trying to produce a dramatic gothic effect… lens not wide enough…

Noisy noisy noisy! but nevermind, I didn’t bring a tripod along to do a long shutter shot. Plus I didn’t have the time for it either… maybe next time.
KL Tower & KL Wesley’s cross
My friend Jeff lent me his Nikon 80-200mm push pull, so I tried it out on my D90 body.
I did not take a picture of the lens, so I snagged one off Google Images just to show u how big this lens is, check it out!

I shot these photos straight out of their apartment window.
Test shot, Menara Maybank entrance
whoah lovely lovely …!
A tiny bit of CA but nothing the D90 can’t correct
Now let’s see what this zoom can do at maximum focal length 200mm.. whoaa! that’s amazing!
Let’s see what it can do in doors. The green colour walls r giving me an ugly tinge…
Even software editing couldn’t make the ugly looking skin tone go away….
A simple switch to Cloudy White Balance on the D90.. .and voilah! skin tone fixed
That’s all the time I had left with that lens, thanks Jeff for the test drive. All I can say is, it’s an oldie but a goodie!

Spent yesterday evening with family at the Hard Rock Hotel Penang! Didn’t really have much time to shoot and half the time it was raining cats and dogs … here are some pics around the hotel

- Sunset at 6:45pm, toying with f22 to get a sun star effect

This has become the new happening place in Batu Ferringhi

- the unmistakable Hard Rock giant guitar

- The King of Pop immortalized at the Hard Rock Cafe Penang

- Didn’t have time to go see who these heads are but they look cool!

- The Beatles in mosaic

The pizzeria, with flame oven to bake yummy pizzas!

- latest LED floor lights

- Open the balcony and jump straight into the pool!
Every hotel should design their pool and balcony this way!

Been wanting to attend an advanced photography workshop for quite a while and we managed to get Edwin Lee from Moristee Studio to be our trainer of the day . We learnt at lot about how to compose and how to edit our photos so that it doesn’t look flat, flat … FLAT! We also had the opportunity to play with a little bit of creative lighting in the afternoon.
Sorry about the low res pics, I’ll replace them with higher res later.
