We have been planning this since last year , well actually we were supposed to do this shoot last year, but it never materialized for a myriad of reasons. We finally did it last saturday! Here are my favourites.

I actually missed this portrait shoot but managed to lend my D9o to the film master King Kong to shoot on my behalf. Even though I didn’t have the chance to be there in person to shoot, I got to do the post processing.
King Kong you did a fantastic job! I love it!
So here’s our combined effort:-

This is my favourite. Photo by King Kong

Yesterday was the actual day for the shoot. Didn’t realize it was also the flower carnival at the botanical gardens. So we got caught in the jam and had a hard time finding a parking space. Ended up parking near youth park and walking all the way. Our poor model, reached the shoot site all hot and sweating haha…
We still had a good time, after a good cool drink of excel isotonic and some chocolate bars for energy. We had a strange encounter with an almost naked indian man hogging our waterfall shoot site. He saw us with our camera gear and thought we were going to take his picture :S …. how vain can people get? So we had to go shoot some where else first until he left the place.
Anyway, after the shoot and after dinner, got home and found out that there was a black out till mid night! So I could not do any processing… so stay tuned, photos of our first portrait shoot is coming up next

sorry to all who were looking forward to the pics …. it is equally as potong stim for me and my team too… .nevermind , there must be a reason why we couldn’t do it on 1st May.
UPDATE 1st May: Ben and I decided to go to the botanical gardens just to practice some macro work early in the morning. In the end we had to go back home coz it rained shortly after we got there. So I guess it was never meant to happen even if our ‘client’ didn’t post pone it, the rain would have prevented us from shooting on 1st May.
